Hello Kym,

well, rollercoaster is a cradle in comparison to what we have experienced!

Yesterday evening, all of a sudden, I got a menstruation like strong bleeding. We were so depressed! We called the clinic and Dr. Smotrich told Urs that 50 % of his patients do have that. He told us to double the Progesterone in oil and then to go to my doctor for ultrasound and blood work today. I was crying a lot in the night!

And then, this morning the ultrasound showed an intact pregnancy with heart beat! In the ultrasound everything looks good. It is a singleton!

Woaw! I really did not expect that this morning!

My gynaecologist was very helpful. They also drew blood for the hormone levels. The progesterone and the estradiol are very high, and the beta is over 25 ooo with a double rate of 3.3. The doctor from the lab said that this is ok.

 

Whew! So this is the news!

My doctor and Dr. Smotrich say that I should take it easy today- so today is another couch potato day for me.
